Born of the Bush,
Guided by Purpose

Who We Are

Founded by expert guides Devon Myers and Grant Telfer, we offer immersive trails through the Pafuri region of Kruger National Park; a remote, raw and magical wilderness where ancient floodplains, fever tree forests, and riverbeds invite you to slow down and reconnect.

With over 40 years of combined experience guiding and training across Africa, we’ve made it our mission to help others rediscover their place in nature.

Our trails aren’t just about the destination. They’re about presence, awareness, and walking in the footsteps of those who came before us.

Why We Walk

It is not about wildlife sightings from afar. It’s about immersion. Reconnecting with your senses and feeling part of the bush, not apart from it.

Every footstep through Pafuri brings you closer to the awareness our ancestors lived by and the truth that we are not separate from nature, but an extension of it.

WOA_Why We Walk

This is the work that we have applied ourselves to learning our whole lives — shaped by dusty animal paths, the rhythm of the bush, studying textbooks, learning from our mentors and endless hours on foot gaining experience. We are very grateful to share it with you.

Our Commitment
to Conservation

Wilderness only stays wild when people protect it.

That’s why we support the Game Rangers’ Association of Africa (GRAA) — especially their efforts to provide insurance cover for rangers working on the frontlines of conservation. These men and women walk point in wild spaces every day, making split-second decisions in dangerous conditions to keep these places alive.

As trainers of rangers and guides across South and East Africa, we’ve seen what’s at stake. We’re proud to walk alongside organisations like GRAA, helping uplift those who dedicate their lives to protecting the wild.
